The interior design of the National Forum of Music encompassed comprehensive development of area accessible to the public, including 4 concert halls, foyers, food court, toilets, VIP rooms and ticket offices. The designs of halls that required control over sound were subject to strict acoustic requirements and their development was supervised by American consultants from Artec. The interior design also needed to be adapted to the state-of-the-art solutions in terms of scene technologies. |
The design of the Main Concert Hall for 1800 spectators included execution of a modular, acoustic concrete cladding that covers the walls of the three highest levels. We also designed exclusive chairs dedicated for the NFM. The interior of the Main Hall which is furbished with warm colours is in contrast with the main foyer in cold, formal black and white colours. Three chamber halls differ in décor and colours. The architectural design of the National Forum of Music was developed by Kuryłowicz & Associates Architecture Studio.
